Those are good tips, and nicely and concisely arranged. (Does he say something about using too many adverbs?)

Brenda Ueland's book, If you want to Write, is one of the best books on writing that I've ever run across. It deals heavily with using the imagination. I wish I had read it twenty years earlier than I did.
Also, Writing the Natural Way, by Gabriele Lusser Rico is very good. It introduced me to the idea of clustering.
