Keith Olberman summed up her convention speech as "Norma Rae by way of Tracey Flick" (Ms. Flick was Reese Witherspoon's character in "Election"). I'd second that, except to me she most strongly channels Dolores Umbridge. (Which makes Obama Harry Potter I guess. Wonder how he'd look in specs?)
I'd like to see Dana Carvey do Sarah Palin.
She reminds me of a somewhat juicier "Church Lady."
